Chapter 2 — Circulation
巡りという身体観
身体は、部品の集合ではない。
頭は頭。
肩は肩。
足は足。
分ければ、説明はしやすい。
だが、本当にそうだろうか。
冷えた足先は、
足だけの問題か。
張ったこめかみは、
頭だけの問題か。
乱れは、点では起きない。
巡りのどこかが滞れば、
全体が鈍る。
日本の身体観は、
「流れ」を見る。
気血水という言葉がある。
東洋医学の話をするつもりはない。
ただ一つ言えるのは、
身体は、巡っているという前提。
川を想像してほしい。
上流が詰まれば、
下流は濁る。
途中で淀めば、
全体が鈍る。
無理に押し流すのではない。
まず、巡らせる。
頭にひと吹き。
耳の裏にひと吹き。
うなじにひと吹き。
それは部位ケアではない。
巡りに、触れている。
草木とミライは、
部分を直そうとはしていない。
全体を、思い出させようとしている。
冷感が走り、
やがて温感に変わる。
それは刺激ではない。
巡りが、動き出す合図。
日本発のボタニカルとは、
植物の種類の話ではない。
身体を分断しないという思想。
巡るとき、
人は軽くなる。
軽くなると、
余白が生まれる。
整えるとは、巡らせること。
巡らせるとは、
本来の流れに戻すこと。
ここが、草木とミライの中心軸。
Chapter2 — Circulation
The Body as Flow
The body is not a collection of parts.
The head is the head.
The shoulders are the shoulders.
The feet are the feet.
Divide them, and explanation becomes easier.
But is that truly the whole story?

Cold toes —
are they only a problem of the feet?
Tight temples —
are they only a problem of the head?
Disorder does not arise at a single point.
When circulation is obstructed somewhere,
the whole becomes dull.

The Japanese view of the body
looks at flow.
There is a term: Ki, Blood, and Water.
This is not a lesson in Eastern medicine.
There is only one thing to say:
The body exists on the premise that it circulates.

Imagine a river.
If the upstream is blocked,
the downstream turns murky.
If the current stagnates midway,
the entire river slows.
We do not force it forward.
We let it flow again.

One spray to the head.
One spray behind the ears.
One spray at the nape of the neck.
This is not “spot care.”
It is touching circulation.

Kusaki to Mirai
does not attempt to fix parts.
It reminds the whole.

A cool sensation runs,
then gently shifts to warmth.
This is not stimulation.
It is the sign
that circulation has begun to move.

To be a Japanese botanical
is not about the variety of plants.
It is the philosophy
of not dividing the body.

When circulation flows,
the body feels lighter.
When it becomes lighter,
space is created.

To restore balance
is to let circulation move.
To let it move
is to return to its original flow.
